July 7, 2026Dragapult is known as the Stealth Pokémon. It is doing a terrible, terrible job at being stealthy in the current Pokémon TCG metagame, however. At the North American International Championships, decks that were centered around Dragapult ex took up about half of the room in Phase 2 at an astouding 48.15%.
My goal is to help Dragapult do what it was originally intended to do - be stealthy and unseen. In other words, I want Dragapult out of my sight.
Nicholas Frank here. You might know me from the 64 page Palafin Manifesto and my very silly endeavors. I might be the only person to have used Copperajah ex multiple times in multiple ways in multiple formats. There was a time where I was Long Island's 'Palafin guy'.
However, I want to be crystal clear - I have never gotten a worlds invite. I've never top cut at an IC. I've never gotten Day 2 at a Regional. I haven't ever gotten to the second phase of a Cup.
Many players with incredible finishes have amazing content online, and I could list places to find really useful information about gameplay in general and how to pilot decks with massive tournament success. This...is not one of those places for that kind of content.
On the day this is posted, July 7th, 2026, I will be celebrating my 27th birthday - and I think it's time that I give a birthday gift to the internet.
This is 'antimetafy.gg,' my new website where I have plans to host a variety of things, ranging from random thoughts as small posts, to documents like the Palafin Manifesto - but at a tremendously scaled down size.
I'll be going over underrated cards and my opinion on new cards entering the format. If I have good ideas, I will post them. If I have bad or funny ideas, I will post them. Do not expect much of the good ideas.
The other thing on this site will be a few things I'll be coding in HTML, ranging from Random Deck Idea Generators to some of the most insane and slightly pointless calculation pages for the Pokémon TCG that the web has ever had. Still working on the Metang Metal Maker Math Matrix.
For the month of July, I will be celebrating my birthday month by uploading a post every other day for a current card in the meta that doesn't see a ton of use, and theorycrafting where it could fit, starting tomorrow, July 8th.
I want to thank you for reading all this, and I can't tell you if this site will be constantly updated, or if it will even be updated past August, truthfully. But, making this site seemed like a good bit, and I'm not convinced there is anything I'm committed to more than the bit.
Drakloak is known as the Caretaker Pokémon. As far as I'm aware, no decks with Drakloak and Caretaker (both cards from TWM) have made Day 2. I'll leave that for another post.
